Default Intolerable meds?

Does anyone else have a problem with the meds? I can't take bc because they caused a blood clot in my brain. I almost went blind because left a lesion next to my optic nerve. I can't take spiro because it made my blood pressure too low and metformin made me throw up for days. Does anyone else have trouble with treament? I cant find any meds that I'm able to take!

I tried Aldactone and it made me sick and also Mircette I couldn't
handle.
I never want to take another medication in my life!!

Default Hi Nutrasweetly & Stephy

I just read your posts and Nutrasweetly I was so sad to hear that you had a blood clot in your brain and I am so glad that you have recovered. *HUGS* The only thing I can suggest is have you considered alternative treatment? Like natural remedies or homepathic preparations? About 6 years ago I went to a naturopath and I didn't know I had pcos - I went for absence of period and depression and after doing the recommended treatments for 2 months I got a period (and I hadn't had one in over two years at that point). I stopped going because I could no longer afford to but when I first started going, I went to a college so the appointments were only $20.00 provided I agreed to allow a student in with the Doctor of Naturopathy. What area do you live in? I am in Canada.

I thought i was the only one who can not take meds. I can not take provera or bcp because i had a stroke while on provera in 1992. MY doc never did mention met to me though. All my gyne does for me is endometrial biospies i go 2 yrs with out a perod. So i went to my gp and he sent me for bw and my cholestrol was 6.3 and my liver fuction test was elevated. Please feel that u are not alone. Please feel free to pm me if u would like to chat about this.
