Hi out there soul cysters! It is so nice to have found this website and finally a community that I can discuss PCOS issues with.
A little history, I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 16 after having missed periods for almost a year.
Fast forward now I am 29. and recently I have been having some health issues and I was hoping that maybe one of you have had similar experiences.
A little over a month ago I began to have some changes like sore breasts, change in taste and nausea after eating. I went to the Dr. and he thought I was pregnant, urine test cam back negative. He said it could be allergies except for the breast pain, so I started allergy pills and I began to ignore the nausea that came after eating. But this past week its a lot worse. I thought I had a stomach bug, vomiting etc. Also right now my nipples are very sore, especially to the touch, wearing a bra is a hassle because of the pain. I began birth control pills mid april and I am still taking them. My period a couple month ago, before starting the pills was strange very light and my last period was almost non existent, just light pink/brown blood with clear mucous mixed in and it lasted just mild spotting for about 5 days. I went to a different dr. yesterday who thinks i'm pregnant. she ran a urine pregnancy test and it came back negative. She wanted me to test again in a couple of days and again in a week. She also mentioned having a blood test for pregnancy and I opted for that so I am not constantly testing. So I am waiting for that as well as a thyriod test which she ran to come back. I am not trying for a baby as I am not married. I just feel so sick I spent most of the morning crying I couldn't even finish my shopping at the grocery store because I got sick. I don't know whats wrong with me could it be PCOS symptoms doing this? I am either pregnant, sick or crazy. I just want things to be better. I'd be fine if I knew what was wrong (or right in the case of pregnancy) this not knowing is terrible.
any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks
