Hello ladies! I've been lurking about for a couple of months and since I'm starting Metformin today, I thought I should commemorate by registering and making my FIRST post! I was diagnosed in Oct 2005 after not having AF for 6 months. Had been gaining weight since college and wasn't losing easily... Went to gyno and here I am! She's GREAT and prescribed Met without batting an eye.


I'm glad to have found such a supportive community and I can't wait to share some of my triumphs and frustrations as they come along!
