I have my cheeroes or oatmeal for breakfast all the time, and I am a type 2 diabetic - 2 hr after i eat them my levels have not spiked so they are having no effect on my levels thus are alright for me to eat.
Everyone is different in what works for you or not. My mom will spike after having cheeros yet I don't. My mom will not spike after having an orange yet I go though the roof.
Keeping a level & food diery is the best deal to find what works for you over time (took me 2 years of cataloging to find the foods that work for me and the ones that don't).
