Default IR symptoms

Is there a set of symptoms anyone can fill me in on. I haven't been tested for IR (will be at next appointment-not until Sept.) but I'd like to compare any recognized symptoms to what I'm feeling. My fasting glucose is pretty low. I have been diagnosed since 1990 but this was all before the insuline connection was established or at least let out of the bag.
Thanks for any help!

There are a lot but unfortunately I don't know them all. Fatigue, especially after eating is one. And dark patches of skin is another. That's all I know...

Someone come along and post them all for our cyster!

My symptoms were:

Brain fog, especially after high carb meals
Impaired thinking
Shakiness if I didn't eat just right on time
Water retention, weight gain (but not always)
Extreme tiredness after meals, this one was the worst for me, I could not even process bread without feeling extremely fatigued

My most extreme symptom was the thought process. I felt like I was somewhere else often (especially after eating) and when someone would speak I would hear them but not really process what they would say. (I thought this was normal.!)
After being on Glucophage XR 2000 mgs for 20 months I now realize this isn't normal. I don't feel impaired anymore. It also has helped with the water retention.

My symptoms are as follows:

1. Fogginess and extreme fatigue after meals. (I can fall asleep any time, anywhere when my symptoms are at their worst.)

2. Long cycles (when I get AF) or anovulatory cycles.

3. Extreme irritability. I have had so many unexplained temper tantrums and crying jags. When my IR is acting up you don't want to be anywhere near me.

4. Dizziness, like I'm about to faint or throw up.

5. Unexplained weight gain.
