I'm a thincyster,IR, on spiro, BC and met (500 mg). Not trying to conceive yet. Trying to control acne, cysts and hair loss. My question is whether or not your Dr has you on any sort of diet (low sugar, glycemic, etc)? My Dr said no reason to change diet. My insulin went down, but now creeping back up. I don't watch my diet, but even though I'm thin, it still seems like I should be watching sugar intake or something. Any thins out there without diet restrictions?

My doctor didn't recommend any diet advice, but I personally find that I feel better and my skin is somewhat better with a low-GI diet while taking MET.
