Question Irratation after laser?

How much irratation should I expect after laser? Should I plan on staying home the next day? I'm afraid of having to go to work with a red, blotchy face.

Thanks for the help!

I had some irratation after laser (i had it done on my sideburns, under my chin and my upper lip). My face was red and felt warm, but like an hour or so later it was gone. But I'm not very sensitive with that stuff, i can get my eyebrows waxed on my lunch break, and i'm usually fine. So it really depends on how your skin reacts to things like that. But it was no problem for me and worked great. Good luck.

There are people who get laser treatments on their lunch breaks and no one knows b/c they don't get irritated one bit. Might be b/c the laser is on a low setting, might be b/c their skin tolerates it well. In my case, I swell up pretty bad. I have to sit there with ice packs on my face for 30-45min and then my face is still quite warm for another couple of hours. It's gotten better with time though.
