Irregular cycles even though you are doubling up on the pill? Okay, maybe this should go in the BCP forum, but I don't think so. SO here is where I am posting, sorry if it's in the wrong place.
I started taking BCP's when I turned 22 (a month before I was diagnosed, to regulate my cycles--first ovcon35. Then I was swapped to Ortho-Cyclen/Sprintec. Then I decided to switch to Yasmin, I tried it for three months, and wanted to swap back to the ortho. When I did I also started the SBD. Well as I have heard about the sbd on the boards, people tend to get their periods a week early. Some got them when they were supposed to too even on the pill. So February I swapped pills and started a new diet, fair enough I had my period for 2 weeks, then March, 2 weeks again, (doc's so far have chalked this up to weight loss and pill swapping--fair enough.) Then April I had surgery so I bled for a week from that and 2 weeks again thanks to the sbd/ bcps. My doctor told me to double up the pill pack when I got diagnosed with endo. I went through about a week and a half with actually only 1/2 day of pain, then about a week of no pain, then despite being on continous bcps' I got the breast tenderness, etc, and then came my period. Then last friday, I swear the pain was worst than when I was recovering from surgery! Now I am on week 2 of the second pill pack, and my chest is starting to feel tender again...ARGH--I am still spotting from last week. HELP--ADVISE--SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THIS GETS BETTER! I have a very very strong threshold for pain, and Friday I actually had to leave work early because heat, advil, and running were not helping (and they usually at least provide mild relief!)
Thanks.
