I know there have been quite a few posts on this site about DCI (D-Chiro-Isonitol). However, it is quite expensive and from what I can tell only available from one web site (I have searched local nutrition stores and they do not carry it).

However, Isonitol is readily available from GNC and other nutrition stores in my area ( I am not apposed to buying online, but like a little more research). So I did some searching and found that Isonitol has similar effects to DCI and am planning on purchasing some.

Has anyone used Isonitol? It is sold as a powder or pill form. The powder is supposedly more easily digested.

What is it used for? Somebody said they used inosotil to lighten dark patches of skin probably caused by Insulin Resistance. Same med?

It is same drug there are different ways to spell it. I am not familiar with it lightening dark patches of skin but is supposed to help regulate insulin levels and blood sugar. It can help with mood and sex drive too.
