Default Itchy Scalp???

My scalp has been itching a lot lately...all over. Is there anything I can do to help this? I already have really thin hair, but I haven't noticed any increased loss (above and beyond what I'm already losing.) What could this itching be from? I haven't switched hair products and the only thing I've changed in my diet is I've cut out sugar, flour, etc. I'm still eating carbs from fruits and veggies.

You can try an Apple Cider Vinegar rise after shampooing.

Or Rosemary oil mixed in a carrier oil like Jojoba applied every night and washed out in the morning.... This helps with other hair problems too...if you have any...

I got this after I came off the pill and it was followed by a whole lot of new hair growth.

It could be that you have product buildup on the scalp causing the itching. The apple cider vinegar rinse would be great. But you need to switch your shampoo and conditoners to avoid building up.Rotate them to avoid developing allergic responses on the scalp. All natural shampoos are the best, find one with tea tree oil which will soothe and heal the scalp.Good luck!

I use a great conditioner by St. Ives, it's the Hair Repair. It's got a great peppermint tingle to it. I cut down to about once a week, but it sooths my scalp!! And it smells great! Very relaxing.
