I just had my first IUI yesterday and BD'd last night. I am experiencing some serious ovarian pain and cramping. Is this normal? I was on a combo of femara/follistim/trigger then IUI. I am nervous...anyone experienced this?

You might try posting under the TTC forum. I bet you would get a lot of responses there. I had immediate pain following IUI, or cramping rather. It gradually went away. Then during the 2ww my lower back absolutely killed me. I was convinced I had a UTI but the nurses said it was just my ovaries because they were swelled and all. But ya I was pretty tense for a few days. If its bad I would call the RE just to be safe.

I had some pretty severe cramping after my last IUI. I talked to the nurse and she said that it happens if they didn't get all the extras out of the sperm when they did the wash (like seminal fluid,proteins, etc.)

BCP in Nov.-Dec.
Femara/Menopur in Jan +IUI
