Eirenay - I am taking some ibuprofen for the pain. I am not a fan of pain killers. I can't take anything with codeine - TMI but I get super constipated very easy and codeine dont help my situation.

I am glad to see/hear your betas are doubling - YEAH!!!

I got some bad news today, my other grandfather is doing really bad and th docs are very grim about his longterm outlook, so they are thinking that any time he may pass away. I dont know, this has happened before and he has bounced back. But my mom is calling in my uncler (her brother) to come up, so I think this may be it. Mom keeps telling me there is nothing I can do, so not to bother driving all the way out there, but I feel bad for not going. Time will tell what I am going to do. I will prolly call my older sister and she what she has to say.

I think I have come to a conclusion, when I see my dr next I am going to ask for the ovarian drilling. I think it might help my situation. Surgery is always a horrible thing for me, as I have a anesthetic disorder - argh - when I went for surgery in Feb to remove my gall bladder I think they got upset with me cause I kept making sure what they were giving me was right - the joys of working in Pharmacy I know what to ask and I know if they are the right drugs or not ... that was prolly the reason I was knocked out so fast -LOL ... plus it was the hospital I work in, that I got my surgery done ... so I never shut up!!! HAHA ... shame on me!

Well I am going to header, I am making a cathedral length veil for one of my friends for her wedding. I couldnt let her spend $200+ for one in the store - they are TOO easy to make!!!

AFM, nothing new to report...I did not get my 3+hours of sleep to temp i only got 2 so of course it dropped!!!

Lina, You temps look pretty good overall! I bet there wouldn't have been that kind of dip if you had some decent sleep last night. We like to see them climb. Its not a day by day thing but as long as overall everything is moving up! And you are my friend. Ugh 3 hrs of sleep...You're going to need a nap today.

Hello All-
I had my first IUI yesterday and I had some bleeding today. Not a ton, but more than I thought. Im assuming it was a combo of ovulating and getting poked in the cervix. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

supermouse: I did bleed quite a bit with the IUI. The doc said it was because of the catheter going through the cervix. Mine lasted a full day. Good luck in your 2ww!

Redbirdie: Sorry to hear about your cycle.

Babyme: Betas are still rising, not doubling, but if I do the math correctly they are rising about 60% (now at 1759). More beta testing on tuesday and thursday and ultrasound is scheduled for Friday. Yay for your progesterone level!!!!

eirenay--Oh THANK YOU!! (and congrats on your pg!) Now I feel better. It's not a ton of blood, and I think it's stopping, but still, that was unexpected. I guess I should have not been so surprised---the HSG made me bleed like AF for a week, so I seem to have a sensitive cervix. Anyway, if you bled AND got pg, then I don't have to panic.

Hello All!

So I had to get some bw done today and I go for a us tomorrow. I am in the middle of this cycle, taking the bcp to try to shrink the cysts, and low and behold, with all this pain I have been having over the weekend, I start bleeding today. SO - they want to know what is going down - maybe I ovulated? who knows - or more likely then not I had a cyst or cysts burst, cause this pain aspect is not working for me. Plus I feel like I have a UTI - so I peed in a cup to test for that.
I am secretly hoping that they tell me he wants to go in and drain the rest or do something, I really want my ovaries drilled.

I went and saw my grampa, and he is doing much better, but he can not go home, we are trying to find him a spot in long term care. The doc said it was a miracale that he made it through the night and that things have gone back to normal. Lets hope things stay good for awhile.

Wish me luck at the drs tomorrow!!!

PS. The Sea Monkeys are alive and doing well ... So far!!

Hi Ladies, just got back from a week in NYC with DH. It was GREAT! We had our IUI last Tuesday and are in the 2WW. Ugh!

Good morning.

Freaking out today.

My temps started to go up yesterday, so I figured this would be a slow rise like the other two times I ovulated. However, this morning, my temp had dropped again. Is it even possible that with one huge follie and at least 8 smaller follies (probably not mature, but at least 15mm if not 16 or 17) that NOT A SINGLE ONE OVULATED???!!!

I know I have to wait until tomorrow to see what the temps do, and that I'll have a p4 on Friday. But here I was thinking "hey! I might be pg!" and now all I can think is "Hey, somehow, I managed to win the craptastic lottery and not even ovulate!"

Possible reasons for low temps:
1)Thermometer battery is going. The amounts of time its been taking to register has been varying widely and the thing IS a year old. I will get a new one today and see if that makes a difference.

2)Fall-back rise.

3)Fluke.

4)Didn't ovulate.

5)Did ovulate, but for some inexplicable reason, temps are not reflecting that. (highly unlikely).

Any insight?

EDIT: ok, I looked at charts on FF, and there are quite a number with an HCG shot AND a fallback rise. So, if my temp goes up tomorrow, then Im all set. Today's low temp may mean nothing.

Metformin started Sept 2007 --- 1000 mg 3 rounds of Clomid Sept/Oct/Nov 2007 (50/100/150) Glumetza 1500 mg (current med) Official PCOS diagnosis March 2008 ------- First IUI cycle with Injectibles (Puregon) March 26 - CD #1 April 8 - First IUI April 20 -BFP!!!!!
