Default Ive grown a beard!

Oh my god Ive just noticed I have the thickest beard ever I swear that was never there before!
Its very blonde so only noticeable when the light catches it but is very definatly there! When I mentioned it to DP he said he had noticed it ages ago but didnt want to say anything to upset me! Its so thick though! How can I get rid of it there is too much to pluck?? I cant afford laser or anything like that.

Hi sweetheart.

::BIG HUGS:: to you. I know exactly how you and the rest of the girls feel. The excess facial and body hair has been the most embarrassing and most hurtful symptoms of all of my symptoms.

I wanted to tell you that sometimes trimming with scissors will help and make it seem less thick. Also, I wax and I have been very happy with the results.

Just remember...you are beautiful and there are new things coming out everyday for excess hair. I hope in time all of us will be able to be happy and satisfied with ourselves, with or without hair!

::Hugs::

Glad you discovered waxing. I find that I have to wax about twice a week! Hope you don't have the same problem.

Default i too have a beard

hi i have one too and i was plucking them before i got told they grow back thicker so the best way is cutting them down with scissors.
i am having electrolysis now and i have only had two sessions on it but it does not hurt and the result at the end is permant and it takes at least 18 months to 2 years to get rid of the hair all together.
i totally tell you all to try it get your doctor to send you for it on the nhs.
if you want to e mail me my e mail address is saradriffill@hotmail.com

Being blonde I get away from this quite well, however my mum didn't and suffered for years. 12 months ago she started waxing and electrolosis and it really was not expensive at all (between 10-20 a session every 3/4 weeks?)

... anyway.... she has no neck/chin hair growth at all now! She is ecstatic!
