Those of you who are active on other adoption boards/sites, have you heard anything about what ever happened with James, the little boy with Down Syndrome in China? I think of him often. I'm just so hoping he's found his forever family, both for his sake and for all of the other kiddos with Downs over there.

I tried to contact his worker numerous times in an attempt to have our homestudy seen. I never heard back! I hope that he's found a forever family!

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.
I heard that over 300 families inquired about him. I don't know who was selected, but I did hear that he has a family. BTW, if you are hoping to adopt a child with DS, there is a great site www.reecesrainbow.com that has about 50 kids from around the globe who have DS.
