January 15th 2005 at Milestones(Yorkdale shopping centre) at 6pm.
With January only a month away I thought it might be time again to try to plan our outing for January.
Hopefully with our early planning more cysters can make it out this time.
I look forward to meeting some new cysters this time around.

January 15th works great for me. We get pocession of our home the following week. As for location I'm not too fussy.
I have my own personal taxi driver(don't tell Mark I said that about him or I may have to take the bus )
Milestones worked out ok last month we could go there again or try somewhere new.
Anyone have any special dietery needs or major food allergies?
I think Yorkdale is a great place to meet. It is central. Square One is also great if we're trying to capture a more 'western' crowd. But I'd say Yorkdale is good. Since it'll be cold, we'll want a place that most people can drive and/or walk to relatively close to a TTC stop. What about the Eaton's Centre? I'm just throwing around ideas. I've got a few allergies, and am also on a diabetic diet, but I'm sure a lot of cysters follow similar dietary restrictions. (regarding the glycemic index and all...)
Originally posted by BookWorms What's parking like at the Eaton's Centre?
Expensive! If I remember & a pita. You can't turn right or left to get into the garage and going around the block is torture cause of one way streets and no turn signs.
There is also a Baton Rogue just up the street on Yonge closer to finch if that would be easier. I'm assuming they would validate parking too but I could find out for sure.
I am really not too fussy though Yorkdale in my opinion is a great location & it has free parking and subway access.
Lori, either one is fine for me. I don't mind so much the driving at Yonge and Finch as I do in the heart of downtown. Yorkdale is good too. Whatever you guys decide.
Hi!
I am new to all of this. Would like to meet you guys. I can meet pretty much anywhere. Coming from Barrie, I would prefer Yorkdale or Square One(family in Miss.) If you decide to go with downtown that's ok too!
Welcome Buckie!
We would like to meet you too.
We will probably go with Yorkdale just because of the convenience of location but we'll have to see what the consensus is.
