Hey KGJacob!

Thanks for asking. As of right now, I've not heard one way or the other. I know that we did get in PGN on 2/27/03, but nothing since then.

I was on contact with my agency today about the big PGN meeting that happened at 11:00, and I was so worried about the meeting that I totally forgot about asking if we were out of PGN.

I don't really expect to hear anything at least until sometime next week, since my attorney will be back from vacation sometime next week.

So how is your adoption going?

We should be getting an update this week (an hopefully more photos). But we are still a long way off.

Since you have been in PGN for about 2 weeks, I think that is a good sign. If you were going to get kicked out for anything obvious, you probably would have heard about it before now. (My case worker keeps telling me that no news is good news in Guatemala!)

You'll have to post the pics when you get them. It is so exciting to be expecting new pictures. We get some about once a month, and I look forward to them everytime.

You'll have to keep me posted on how things go for you. I sure hope you case moves quickly. As for PGN, I've heard that usually if you don't hear anything about being kicked out with in the first 2 to 4 weeks, you should be out or getting out. I sure hope to be posting "I'M TRAVELING!!" very soon.

It has always been helpful to me to hear other people's good news too. It gives me hope that my baby will come home. How do you do it?!?!? Waiting for so long to get your baby? Of course, I'm sitting here looking at the picture of my precious little boy, and I think I would wait forever just to be his Mom.

Good luck, and I hope you get your referral sooner than you expect.

How do I do it? I have no idea--LOL! No, actually, we knew the wait was going to be about a total of 16-18 months. We were anticipating that anyway. I just keep busy with my DD & the house, and all that fun stuff. Just thinking about our new daughter gives me the shivers though---I can't imagine what it will feel like when I actually have a picture to stare at all day!!

Once the summer is here I will begin decorating her room and preparing for her arrival in the winter. Until then, I'll keep reading & researching China as my distraction!! LOL

PS--I'm hoping for a quicker referral too!
