does anyone have any suggestions for job searching? i'm looking for work in either london or liverpool.

i have a b.a. in anthropology (physical anthro focus)

i've been looking on fish4.co.uk

i've just moved back here, and am not sure of the best way to search for jobs.

thanks,

Default Agencies

Hi Hannah!!

Hope you are liking England so far.

Anyway, on the job front if you go on the BT website then you can get a business search up from the directory enquiries part of the site. You can have 10 searches a day free of charge I believe. Anyway, you can just put in "employment agencies" under "search by type" and either London or Liverpool and it will give you a whole load of possibles.

Another possible is to contact the university in Liverpool and ask to speak to their personnel department. You can always start by saying you are interested in a job there and when/if they say they don't have anything, ask them if they know of anywhere in the area who might hire a person with your qualifications. A bit sneaky, but if it works - who cares!!

Good luck!

Try www.jobcentreplus.co.uk

It got lists & lists of jobs & is quite hard work to troll through, but its somewhere to start.

Good luck!
