Have any of your sisters watched the new show John and Kate : Plus 8 on TLC??? Well guess what ladies Kate has PCOS!!!!

I fist watched them on a show about multiples. Shortley after being married they found out that she has PCOS. They used invitro and had Twins. Then they "just wanted one more...."lol and had gotten pregnant with 7!!!!!!!!!!!
They ended up loosing one, but gave birth to 6 beautiflu babies.
They now have a show on TLC and I love It!!!!!!!!!!!

I only wish that they would talk a little more abut PCOS, the focus is on them raising multiples, which is great, but I feel that if they talked a liite about the PCOS, they could be a huge insparation to couples TTC, w/ PCOS.
I know that my Dh and I are inspired! Maybe someone could invite her to the boards?!? Although, i am not sure she has time to sit on a computer......lol

I looked on her websiter and it doesnt talk about PCOS at all. I am suprised actually. It would be nice if at least they put a link to PCOS on the site.
I dunno, I was gonna send in an email and ask, but there is no way to contact them...... maybe sooner or later

Wow I love that show and had no idea Kate has PCOS. That really gives me hope as a young woman who eventually wants to become a mommy.

I checked the site and it never really says how she got pregnant. Does anyone know? Clomid, InVitro?

Meds: 100mg Spiro/day * Prenatal vitamins * 10mg Provera (when needed)
TTC Journey:
11/06- 2/08: Wasn't trying, did not prevent
2/08- 4/08: Clomid (50-100-150mgs) No O
5/08: Officially Clomid Resistant... onto Follistim O'ed, but BFN
7/08: 2nd Round of Follistim- in the 2WW

Wow!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that show. We have twins and we always joke that if we get pregnant again it will probably be with a large number of multiples. It is great watching her deal with such a large family.

I'm with you mumoftwins, we are worried we would end up with triplets or quads if we go back...LOL! DH would die of shock I think...its taken me 12 months or more to convince him of having another one due to his fear of more multiples....( he loves having twins, but we cant afford to have another set of multiples...)
