Question Joint/connective tissue pain?

For the last 3-4 months I have had sore knees, a sharp pain right below my kneecap. It is very hard to navigate stairs and my knees sound like Rice Krispies (snap, crackle, pop) or velcro. My right elbow has been very sore and stiff as well. In fact yesterday I noticed that the muscle about 1"-3" above the bend of my elbow is hard and swollen (or else I have been working out in my sleep). I have also experienced stiffness in both shoulders, pain under my arms and in my forearm, and burning in my achillies tendon on my right side. I'm thinking of lopping the whole right side off and hoping a new one grows

I have been taking Met for the last 6 months, and Glucosamine-Chondroitin for the last 3 months.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Unhappy joint pain

I'm not sure if this anyone else has this problem, but I have had bad knees my whole life. I mean like my knee goes out of joint and I have to put my kneecap back where it belongs. I also have had 1 surgery and continually suffer shooting pain radiating upward from my knees to my hips. I'm not sure it's at all related to my pcos.

I have been having lots of joint/muscle pains in my arms lately. Just found out yesterday from my doc that it is due to tons of excess fluid on me that is compressing the nerves. You may want to check that avenue. Hope you feel better soon.

Hate to break it to you but those are my syptoms while on Gluc XR.

I kept complaing to the Dr for 2 years and each one said I must have the GlucXR abouve all else.
So i stayed on it.

Well I have been DX with ostearthritis. There is a form of it that effects swelling in joints and muscles. It is simular to rematoid arthrisis. But thankfully it is not. IR is the key player here.
The IR can cause the swelling and pain. But if you are sensitive to Gluc, it too can cause muscle pain(rare side effect)

For me I have had a bad back for 15+ years. This severe muscle pain didn't hit until after I started the GlucXR.

I can't tell you to stop it. But keep it in mind if things don't get better. I have been on pain meds for a year now just to get through my work days. I am funtioning, but not very well until I stopped the GlucXR. Now I am working out in a gym. Never thought that would happen again. I got so fed up with all the pain, I stopped all my meds. Within 4 days I had 75% improvement with the muscle pain. My doctor finally believes me!!

Good luck,

Patty
