Just out of interest, does anyone here have problems with their joints? I have a recurrent dislocating kneecap because my knee joints are malformed , which happened at puberty. Does anyone have similar problems?

My parents both had "bad knees" with pain most of their lives. Mom got to where she almost couldn't climb stairs, and had to start an exercise problem. I have always had pains since I was a small child. Then I was told it was growing pains, then it was blamed on my weight. Mine comes and goes though, sometimes leaving for months or years. My knees are not good, but not bad. I can climb stairs and walk, but squatting for more than a few seconds is almost out of the question even when I'm not obese.
i used to have horrible joint pain, especially in my knees and hips and back. It would be so bad that my entire body would ache and I could not function. Actually, it has gotten better since being diagnosed and getting my PCOS under control. I do still have hip problems though.
I have chronically achy hips, but I've always blamed that on ballet..
(with no scientific or medical back-up -- just a hunch)

Hmm I don't know if I have any specific joint problem but my bones are always cracking! The worst is when I can feel the joint where my thigh meets my body.. that spot can get so stiff and its hard to loosen it up..
