Hey ladies! So I'll start! BREAK THE ICEEE. YEAHHH! This first week and a half of 2007 has been so hectic for me and I LOVE IT! I'm going back to college in a few days so I'm trying to maximize fun time at home as much as possible. Let's rewind back to December 31st and get a recap of my last week and a half. It's fun times, hold on, girls!
December 31, 2006 So it's almost the NEW YEAR and there was NO WAY my friends and I would spend our first legal new year (We all turned 18 this past year) at home. HELL NO. So we head out around 1030 at night to a New Year's party! It was so much fun. Except.. I got wasted and passed out at my friend's house around 3 in the morning. It was great though -- I met a bunch of new people and had a blast. Great way to kick off 2007. GOODBYE 2006!

January 1, 2006 So my birthday isn't until the 7th, but a lot of my friends were leaving to go back to college on the 2nd, SOOO we all went out to dinner and celebrated my birthday on the first. It was so funnn! AND AND!! The food was pretty not bad. I got cute presents and it was nice to celebrate my birthday with some of my close friends.

One of my good friends, Sandy and I went down to Monterey to hang out with hotties. They're hottt so yummmyyy yummmy. We're going to hang out again this weekend with them.. except they're coming up here to visit us. HOW FUNN. I'm so excited. OMG HOT. That is all.

Well hav'nt done much apart from school to day and seein the kids i childmind it was pretty cool but school was stressful. im upto my eyes in course work and have to sit some exams next week im soo not lookin forward to it at all!! any way ill update tomorow good thread though !!

So I went to a BBQ today. I live about 2 hours away from my University but there's quite a few kids from my area who go to my school. SOOOO -- today, a guy from my school had a big BBQ and invited everyone from our area to his house. HOW FUNNN. There were like 20 people and I met new people I've never seen around campus. That was exciting! Afterwards, my good friend and I went shopping! WOO. We went to Solstice and I bought myself a pair of Dior sunglasses. I saw them and I was like OMG DROOL. MUSTTT BUYYY! So I did. LOVE IT.
I can't wait for htis weekend. hott date. hottt date!

I got a new camera for the Black and White class that I am taking.
It's a Canon Rebel K2.

Hey! This reminds me of Livejournal!
January 14th
Its the end of my weekend, in which I successfully avoided coming in contact with people! This wasn't by design though- I had lots of things that I needed to accomplish. My time was spent mostly doing lots of readings for my classes (which I won't bore you with the finer details, but I will say that Carl Sauer was an interesting guy) and I went shopping which was nice (but only because I had money for once!). I managed to get a nice medium weight winter coat for 30$, and I should be able to use it for a while, as there is snow on the ground here on Vancouver Island (atypical x a million).
Whoo. The life of a university student.
I think my goal for next week should be a more interesting entry!
Well I got off work this morning at 9:30am and went home and slept for a while so that I could come back to work tonight.
I got up and cleaned the house up and got some laundry done. I played with Heather's baby and came back to work. In between posting here and there and taking calls, I've been reading too!
Hope that things for everyone is going okay! College students will survive!

So, in my corner of the world, there is a possibility of snow again tonight. This means the entire city has the possibility of being shut down. Yes, I'm in Canada, yes, I'm being serious!
Today I had the most fantastic class, we were talking about map projections (I'm a huge fan of the (dymaxion) fuller projection, just because its pretty). My prof for that class is hilarious, and makes even the boring bits (fondly known to all as 'math') amusing.
I made the mistake of taking my debit card with me, and I ended up going to the body shop (I *love* it!) on my break and buying some makeup brushes and some bronzer. I'm going to have to be careful with how I spend my money from now on, but at least I'll look lovely and sunkissed (with out the increased risk of melanoma).
Anyway, I'm out. I hope everyone takes five minutes for themselves- you're worth it!

I got some really good sleep today. After an interesting visit to my GodMother's house.
Amanda and I just went driving around and ended up at her house. I'm glad that I got to spend sometime with her today. I missed her.

Well today, I got to go and have dinner with my Mom, Amanda, Alyssa, and Zane. We had a blast and Zane ended up going home with us to spent the night.
He's now at home with Amanda.

So it's been a week since I got back to school. A CRAZYYY WEEEK. Formal Sorority recruitment was last week and just finished yeseterday. So tiring! After a struggle (haha!) I'm now part of a sorority! DELTA DELTA DELTA!!! im so excited. teh girls are amazing! theyre all super nice! they're gorgeousss and inside AND OUT andddd the sorority house is just a freakin mansion. im soooo pumped for next semester when i move into the sorority house. alsooo, my 2 really good friends ended up getting into the same sorority as me. im so glad that it all worked out and we all ended up together by accident -- not because we followed each other. its going to be an amazing 2nd semester. i can feeel it!
