So, I just got finished reading this book...GREAT book, by the way. But on the first page (and throughout the whole book), the author is telling about her struggle with PCOS! In the first chapter she is just getting diagnosed.
Just thought that was amazing...and wanted to share!

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.
By author... you mean the "Julie" who the whole movie is about, or the lady who put the blog saga into a novel? I should probably just look up the book, huh?

Yes, Julie Powell is the one who wrote the book, she is the one who actually DID the year long Julia/Julie experiment. I was kinda psyched to figure that one out!
I would recommend the book to anybody! I can't wait to see the movie...bet they left the PCOS part out.
