Thumbs up Julie/Julia author has PCOS

So, I just got finished reading this book...GREAT book, by the way. But on the first page (and throughout the whole book), the author is telling about her struggle with PCOS! In the first chapter she is just getting diagnosed.

Just thought that was amazing...and wanted to share!

By author... you mean the "Julie" who the whole movie is about, or the lady who put the blog saga into a novel? I should probably just look up the book, huh?

Yes, Julie Powell is the one who wrote the book, she is the one who actually DID the year long Julia/Julie experiment. I was kinda psyched to figure that one out!

I would recommend the book to anybody! I can't wait to see the movie...bet they left the PCOS part out.

That's Awesome! I have the book on hold at the library. Once I read it I will go see the movie. I love reading the books before I see the movie. LOL
