OMG this is an awesome idea, I want to be included. Since the beginning of the year I have gone from 305------>292 and hope ti get to 250 by June and ultimately 200 or less. I think midway we should all write to Oprah with our progress & be heard!

NaturalMama - I have you on the spreadsheet with a goal of 42 lbs. Is that correct?

BTW, yes, we definitely plan on contacting Oprah, Dr. Phil, and other tv shows and magazines. I believe Kat will be taking care of it. Concerning our combined goal weight is over two tons, I definitely think we'll be getting some media attention!!!

For the weigh in do I need to do that here or one that web site that I put all my info in? I wont be able to give a weight today, Have NO scale ( they scare me!!!!) I will buy one tonight!

Sorry Im jumping in on this late. I havent visited this site in awhile but now Im back. Ive decided to put baby making plans on hold and drop some weight first. Today is day 1 of Atkins. I just knew I had to get down to business and get some of this weight off.

Interestly enough, I weighed at my dad's house 1/18 and was 260 and this week I am 258 (and this is consistantly not up and down weight fluctuation). We went on vacation and did a LOT of walking and I ate a lot of protein and very little carbs in the last week or so...

But today is the first official day of Atkins. I'd really like my goal to be to reach 200 (58lbs) by June 27 (which is DHs bday!)..Im not sure if thats a realistic goal but I'd like to get as close as possible!

Anyhoo..if there is anything I need to do or know to join the challenge please let me know!

Hi Ladies....I will get you added to the spreadsheet. Each week snowbunny or another member will start a weigh-in thread. That will be the thread to post that week's # of lbs lost and # of exercise minutes.

It's really late, so I will post when I have you on the spreadsheet (more for my benefit than anything else). Please look for the weekly weigh-in post so you can get an idea of what we're doing.

I still can't believe how well everyone is doing. That is great. I would like to be really happy about my weightloss, but I can't. You see...my scale at home says 268, but the DR scales said 277. I would rather believe mine. My friend weighs herself on her scale and mine and it says the same. I weigh myself on hers and I gain 13lbs. I am starting to think that my top-notch, high costing scale won't read my fat butt!!! I guess you get to a point where the scale sreams at you to get off!. Oh well...I am going to go by it anyway, because it is all I have!
