Each week there will be a thread started for us to check-in. This will be for you to post the # of lbs lost and the # of exercise minutes.

Also, the other part of the Challenge is it's a fundraiser. So if you're able to donate to Soulcysters, then some are donating $1 per pound, while some are donating so much money per exercise minute.

The main thing is a healthier you. I hope I've answered your questions. If not, just email me...mtbraddock@yahoo.com

I'd like to join in with the June challenge if I can. I tried to put the weight loss line in to my sig, but for some reason it isn't showing up.

Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong? I copied and pasted the line set out at the beginning of this thread, and changed all the {'s to ['s.

Oops, it looks as if I did do it right after all!

Default Hi... Can I join in?

Hi there,

Was wondering if I could join your thread? I am currently working with a dietician who has put me on a low carb diet and currently walking every morning about 5km a day. I need to lose 10kg's (22lbs) and this thread seems so motivating

A bit about me... I am 25 and TTC#1 but my doc has told me to get my PCOS and health under control with diet, exercise and Glucophage before he'll talk to me about other Fertility meds or pg at the moment.

Anyway, hoping to get to know you all better...

Sal

Hi Sal!!!

I take care of the spreadsheet. I have you added to it. Each week there's a new thread started. Just make sure to check in on that week's thread to post the # of pounds lost and the # of minutes you exercised.

If you need anything, feel free to email me...mtbraddock@yahoo.com.

Welcome to The Challenge!!!

I'd love to compare the effects of Met vs. Non-Met.
I have been doing the challenge since 1/5 and have lost about 16.5lbs... however, I hit a plateau the week of 1/26 (at 14lbs lost)... and the scale wouldn't budge!
I just started taking Met again this week, so we'll see... I DID drop 2.5lbs in the past few days... but I don't know if I just broke the plateau naturally, or the Met made just a bit more sensitive.

BTW, I am doing Atkins.

Hello Hello!

I don't remember if I posted in this thread or not ... but anyways,

I would love to join! In fact in another thread that was the same topic (??) I stated that I wanted to lose 20lbs by the end of June.

I started the end of Jan, beginning of Feb at 245lbs and I am now down to 240lbs! YaY Me! I have 15 more pounds to go and if I lose more than that I will be thrilled.

My plan is just to eat healthier food choices (still having small issues with that, but nothing big), as well as getting up and active more often. Whether it's cleaning the house or walking to the mall (instead of taking the bus) to run errands. The big part is .. DRINK MORE WATER! I can't drink the tap water here, so I try and buy bottled water. I usually get in about 7.5 L a week, I know probably not enough but for me that averages out to 4/5 glasses a day! Which is 4 glasses more than I am used too!

Good Luck Ladies!

~Corrie~
