Ok, here i go again. I got off the band wagon cause I think i was just feeling so cruddy about things. Yesterday my fiance got us a gym membership at this super cool health club. I really thought about going this morning but I was uncomfortable with going by myself for the first time. THe girl there was so buff. But she was really nice and did not look at me like I was too fat to be there. So I am feeling optimistic. I told my fiance that would be great as long as we go. I started picturing in my head what I would look like skinny again.....lol

so back on the wagon this time for good

Raggedy4, wish I could help with the sig thingy but i still cant get mine right

Well, last night was my first night working out at the gym. I was immidiately at ease cause even thoug the gym was busy when we went there was all shapes and sizes. There was also a huge range in age. So I felt better. I even felt better this morning.

Hi, I have not checked in for a while, had a kindey stone & didnt do much but wish that I would die... or at least that the pain would go away! I have lost 15 puonds, but im not going to put that anywhere just yet, I think it was due to not eating while in pain & drinking 4 liters or water a day to get that thing out. *which never happed, had to have surgury!* So I have not been dieting or exercising. I will start next Tuesday after I go back to the doc & get the stent out of the kidney area! So dont think that I have forgetten about this or given up!!!! Im still with you guys ALL the way!

anauta, SO sorry about the kidney stone and the surgery. That is awful. This guy I worked with had one and he was so miserable. I just wanted to cry every time I saw him.


Rayandme, welcome aboard. I think to start just keep track of your weight and on Mondays look for the thread to post your loss, gain, or stay the same and how much you exercised. The begining of this thread I think tells you all the information. Tina will probably add you to her list( not sure how that is working). SO sorry this is not more help


I went to the gym 2 days in a row! Big accomplishment for me. I am going tonight as well.

hi all


I know this post is in the middle of topics, but this is my first time here and new at this. I think this is totally AWESOME and I am bummed that I have not explored this site and the message boards earlier than tonight. I too am in need of losing weight since I will be getting married 5/15/04 and of course have PCOS. My birthday is June 27, so it is an incentive to get me moving more to see what I can lose by then. I have lost 50 lbs so far, need to lose another 60 by this summer. I love all the dedication that I have seen on these boards, I am happy to now be a part of this.

Thanks to everyone for posting such great messages and to get me even more motivated!

jeanette, welcome aboard. i have been a port of cyster for a couple of months. You will love all the support that we have for each other. CONGRATULATIONS, on your weight loss and your upcoming marriage.



Well, I went to the gym weds, thurs and friday. Saturday I got so involved in my errends that I did not go and i ate really really bad. We were so disappointed in ourselves. But that slip usually would start the end but not this time we got back on track Sunday. THe gym is closed on Sundays so We did not go.

My goals for this week are.
3.5 hours of caridio
3.5 hours of weight training

and a weight loss of 2lbs. I am starting this week at 219
I will drink my water and I will eat right.

Hi everyone and congratulations on your weight loss in the challenge so far, you are all amazing!!!

I'd love to join the challenge too if that's ok

I am new to the site so i'm a bit late joining the challenge. Since the start of January I have lost 19 pounds through change of diet, herbs, acupuncture and exercise! I'd like to lose 50 pounds during the challege.
