Congrats Leisa!

Hey girls, since we are talking about shows to turn this in to as a group when the time comes...here is another idea. I often see groups like ours on shows along the lines of Good Morning America! (Yeah, I know there are other morning news shows like that but it is the one I sometimes watch) Who knows, maybe we can make the rounds teaching people about pcos and losing weight with it!!!

Leisa - My dr office switched offices. His new scales are 4 pds heavier than his old office. So it took me up to a total of 244 lbs. My goal is to be down to 194 by June 27th. By b-day's June 17th, so I'm hoping to get to 194 by then, but no later than the 27th. I can't think of a better birthday present to give myself than a healthier me!!!

I'm glad y'all like the sheets.

I have 9 days of vacation left (I used 1 on Friday)...so let's hit all the tv shows!!!

This is SO exciting!!!!

If you think it would be more benficial to change it to THE CHALLENGE, I say go for it!!!

Yes, I'm like so full of energy and excitement!!! I want to go to the gym so bad today but I want to get the spreadsheet done and some things done around my house so I won't have anything from stopping me from going tomorrow.

People think it's cool enough that "Kat Carney from CNN" started the PCOS website I'm a member of. I don't know if I could handle Kat and Oprah......

Do you want me to change the goal sheet and flip flop it to where we donate $1 per pound and keep the exercise money? Or design another one to give the option? (In response to your post on the SC fundraiser thread?)

Kat, LOVE the idea of a Challenge baord and I think giving money per pound is a good one too. Actually, that is what I had been planning on doing anyway. I really doubt I'm going to keep a jar for myself - can't think of anything I really want that I wouldn't just buy anyway! lol 1000# should definitely at least get us a mention on ....say....CNN? lol

Tina, wow, you've been busy! Great job. Can't wait till tomorrow when (fingers crossed) this all comes together. I have the diet buddies almost done but had a few last minute procrastinators so I have to figure this thing out again. All in all, I think it's going to be great!

I now have two versions of the goal sheet available....if we want to change to only go with $1 per lb/please let me know....

Also I will be keeping a spreadsheet with each person's goal weight, wgt loss, # of exercise minutes, and $ for SC. Can anyone think of anything else that I will need to include in the spreadsheet?

I currently show 86 cysters participating. Snowbunny, do you think as you update the list of new participants you can either put some kind of notation by their name or put their name in a different color so I will know to add them to the spreadsheet? That way, I won't overlook anybody. If that will cause too much additional work, just let me know and I'll go a different route.

Ok, breakdown of what we've got:

* Sticky created
* goal sheets and weight trackers done
* Snowbunny to start a thread each Monday for weight loss/exercise minutes check-in
* Snowbunny will keep track of who has checked in and will post in the weekly thread (is that right? correct me if I'm wrong)
* I will keep an on-going tally in the sticky based off the spreadsheet info
* if Kat changes Important Announcements forum to The Challenge forum, then we can post threads as normal the new forum. If not, then all discussion to take place in the thread started by Snowbunny each week.
* General questions to be posted in the sticky created by Karen.

Have I overlooked anything? Just trying to give everyone a recap to make sure we're all on the same page.

I hope everyone is a bunch of LOSERS tomorrow!!!

Currently 224, want to lose 50 pounds by June.

will be following, generally, the insulin resistance diet.

Man I'm jazzed!!! I've been doing the low-card thing for three days now. I even went to breakfast with DD and DH this morning and stuck to it, which meant no soda or bread . And to tell you the truth right now I feel great! i'm having a hard time sitting still right now just to write this. And to top it all off my morning weight is 51/2 lbs lighter than my start date just two days ago. So we'll see how well I can do. Anyway, keep posting everyone I think every post motivates someone in some way. And yes soon I will be donating my money too. WOOOOOOHOOOOO!

Kat, DEFINITELY a new board would be great.

I can see us on TV...I really can. And I KNOW we can lose a thousand lbs. WE REALLY CAN.

Okay...a few misc. things to say.

Today, my dh (the "d" stands for darling again, lol) and I had great cause to celebrate. We had a rough morning which turned out absolutely beautiful. Our normal celebration is Mexican food which have turned into PigFest 2004. We said NO...we are not doing this again. We are NOT starting this "one cheat meal" cycle on ourselves again. Instead we went to Red Lobster and had PROTEIN FEST 2004.

I FEEL SO GOOD ABOUT IT! I just want to go do some stretches or something.

Also, I have the perfect setup for my exercise now. I am going to put the girls in their bouncers in front of dh's monster screen TV...they will be facing me. I will put on my fitness DVD's and exercise my hiney off (literally). They totally love to watch me dance, so I think it will work. I"m really excited.

I will also be giving all my money to SC. I have every material thing in this world that I will ever need. I am blessed with simple desires.

Well...that's all. Just really excited.

Karen - Maybe we can include in bold letters - "IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO START THE CHALLENGE!" in the first post. That way in case cysters who sign up after tomorrow or may not check in as often know they don't have to weigh in on Jan. 5th to participate.
