sorry kat, and everyone. while i need to loose weight, i really cant afford to donate even .50 per pound. things are just SO tight for us right now, struggling just to keep food on the table for the kids we have at home.

i hate to be a poor sport, and i hope to be a richer sport later on and donate *just because*, but right now i just cant. its such a great cause, and i feel so bad about this.

sorry again- but i will still be losing with all you great cysters!

Please don't feel bad about not donating I think we should all feel good about every aspect of what we're about to do. So wipe the bad out RIGHT NOW!!! There are probably many women right now who cannot afford to donate, and I think they should know that's just a little extra incentive right now for those who can donate and want to. So please lose right along with everyone else and feel just as good about it

that makes me feel better, thanks! i felt like i was carrying this big secret, and everyone was making these plans, and i couldnt join, but couldnt say so. but i started getting scared that maybe i *had* to donate if i joined the challenge. i would, really, if i had any money to spare.

Silly girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Erase that bad feeling right now!!!! What's important is a healthy you and a happy you and a happy/healthy family.

The money is just extra...and SO unimportant in the big scheme!!!!

I doubt there's ANYONE here who cares about how much you donate....we just want you to LOSE LOSE LOSE....as a gift to yourself and your family.

Krissi - the main thing is your willingness to work towards a healthier body. The only thing we ask is that you report the number of pounds lost and the number of minutes you exercise. Everything else is optional.

Edited to add: in your signature, you need to change the [/green] to read [/color]. It should then work.

I know it's a bit late but I'd really like to join. I could use the extra motivation! I don't need a buddy cause I live in a completely different time zone so it would be too hard anyway.

Tina--thanks for the welcome. I know how insomnia is--I managed to fall asleep early last night from pure exhaustion--but I was up at 4--lol. So I hopped on the treadmill at 4:30. It's 8:30 here now. Got DH up early and we came into work 2 hours early (we work together). I can't remember the last time I slept a whole night through. Ugh.

Just a note--you ladies all seem amazing and I'm looking forward to working hard with you!

chrissie_sue: wow!!! not many couple could work together. I could work w/DH more than he could work w/me I think. It wouldn't bother me to be w/him at work and home like that, but I think he needs space away from me sometimes (especially when I'm moody!).

bobbie: I tried PMing you back. This is all you need to do. Sometime today, snowbunny will start a thread for this week's check-in. Just make sure you post your starting weight on there. Karen (IFBPreachersWife) is in charge of the buddy list. Seeing as we have new people signing up every day, I'm sure buddies won't be a problem.

Default is it too late to join ?

This is my first day back from vacation and I just saw this post and would really like to join. I need someone other than myself to talk to and to help me with accountability and support. I haven't read all the posts yet, just the first few and jumped to the end to post this reply. I hope I am not too late.

I need to lose at least 100 lbs to get to my goal weight, but I know that I need to set reasonable goals first and work towards the bigger number over time.

If I am too late I will understand, just hope I am not.
