ok, I read everyone's instructions, and thought well maybe I will take out the [b] at the beginning and at the end, and would you believe it worked except I had a / where it shoudnt be, but I had my bouncing smilee!
so, I went and took out the /, and now for some some reason I am back where I started, I even reset, submitted, then reset and reentered and now that stupid space is coming up, where in my signature there is no space?? I dont know, but something is gone haywire, and I am about to literally cry beacause of this.
Here, I will send you my smilee, and I bet it will work on this post.
Anyways, I guess there is nothing left to do, unless someone out there knows.
Take care all, and thanks for all your help

I want to start the challenge.
I need a diet buddy though. I don't know if I can do it on my own.
I am so desperate to lose weight. I have tried so many things and nothing seems to work.
I don't want to end up obese like my mother. She has a bunch of health problems and I worry about her all the time.
I need to lose 50lbs.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!
Welcome to SoulCysters!!! And no, it's never to late to join the Challenge!!!
Welcome aboard!!!!

I'm gonna stop looking back and starting moving on
And learn how to face my fears
Love with all of my heart, make my mark
I wanna leave something here
Go out on a ledge, without any net
That's what I'm gonna be about
Yeah, I wanna be running
When the sand runs out

Basically keep up with the # of pounds you lose and the # of minutes your exercise (on the 1st page of this thread, 4th post down I have goal sheets, weight trackers, etc you can print). Each Monday, snowbunny will start a check-in thread for you to post your # of pounds lost, # of exercise minutes, etc. The weekly thread is used for discussion for the week.
We suggest donating $1 per pound lost, but that's just a suggestion. Donate what you can. The main thing is a healthier you.
Feel free to PM if you have any questions.
Tina

I just found this website. I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 11 years ago, I have had one spontaneously aborted pregnancy and have suffered from infertility since (7 years of failed treatments).
I am 24, I have diabetes induced by the PCOS and I weigh 298lbs. I have never been able to find a diet support group that understood my trials, being differant than those without PCOS, but I need support. My family have all been obese, but I am the only one who has not lost all my weight and they tend to treat me like I'm just not trying hard enough. I need a buddy or group that is supportive of a 1 pound loss and acknowledges just how *hard* that loss was to achieve instead of saying something like "that's it? you only lost 1 pound? I lost 14!"
I'd love to be thin, but that is not my ultimate goal, my true goal is to facilitate fertility by losing weight.

You are absolutly more than welcome to join! We tend to be very supportive here, and losing weight isn't the only thing we think is important by this challenge, we want to all be healthier I think. So every thing that we accomplish that may seem little or minor to others without PCOS is a BIG milestone for us. I am still confused by all the threads posted about the challenge but look around there are quite a few and you can get info on how to join in a few of them. Good Luck!

Hi all,
Im also a little late, but started with my "plan" on the 7th. We'll see what happens. I want to lose 20 lbs. That is my realistic goal. Maybe next challenge I'll do that other 10 . I will be weighing in on Monday. No weight loss yet..but hopefully soon.

I found this board only last week. I need some help in losing weight. Love my husband, but he's an exercise freak and actually dreads missing a workout or walk!! I cannot seem to get motivated consistently, so I'm hoping this will help.
I hope it's not too late to do this.
I don't know exactly what I want my goal to be....I don't know how to judge that realistically. I know I need to lose 60 or 70 pounds total....how much can I actually lose by June?
I'm sure you'll see me all over the place asking questions.....my doctor didn't answer any of them so I've had to learn this on my own (but that's a story for another forum!).
hi! i bet you could safely lose 20-30 pounds. its never too late to join us! just jump in where you are! i know some women have challenged themselves to eat more healthy foods, or drink their water, instead of *trying* to lose any weight- at least in public i think thats a great challenge too!
there are several threads on the challenge. if you can wade through them you could be able to find more information- i'm pretty much a newbie too
