My Mood: Points: 23,252.54 Bank: 137,695.23 Total Points: 160,947.77 | First of all: YOU ALL ROCK!!!!! What a great group, and holy cow, 369 pounds we've worked off!
Spreadsheet Maintenance: I'm sure I have mistakes, and a bunch of people without stats. I've decided to only keep people on the spreadsheet if they posted in the month prior. People can always rejoin, but it saves my sanity not to have an enormous list.
Also, I used to try to figure out the total loss by people's tickers, but I'm not trusting that those are always up to date. So if you have a new stat to add, please post it in the formats listed below.
Ahhhh, June, almost summertime! I've been falling into the habit of maintaining what I feel are good eating habits, good portion control, but I haven't been keeping track. This needs to stop, I need to start tracking again, because maybe there is some work to be done with my eating habits. I also still have a broken scale, which isn't doing me any favors.
Exercise is going great! I've started to wakeup at the buttcrack of dawn to run, I play soccer one night a week, and am hoping to buy a bicycle and (gulp) enter a triathlon. However, the bike needs to come before a triathlon.
So what's on people's menus this week? I've been making a lot of eggplant lately (it's been cheap!), slicing it, coating with some olive oil and sticking it under the broiler. So long as you dont overdo the olive oil it comes out great. Then I stack it with some tomato and mozzarella cheese, and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and eat! (though last night I had it on a baguette). I have a chicken to roast probably tomorrow. Then there will be leftovers for the rest of the week.

VTGirl - I hear you about the summer. Since getting back from vacation I have not been on program at all. I have still been losing, but have no appetite, which scares me for when I get it back, that I will go totally out of control. I too am watching portions, which has been easy with no appetite....
I hope everything goes well with all the ladies... good luck....

My Mood: Points: 14,877.90 Bank: 32,630.99 Total Points: 47,508.89 | Anybody need an excuse for eating horribly? I seem to have plenty. I am still having a hard time getting back on track. I have already used 16 of my flex points for the week, and it is only day 3. This is the busiest week of the year. It is the last full week of school and we have something planned every week. I am so exhausted by the time I get home, I don't want to cook and I usually end up eating something unhealthy, but easy.
We are an awesome group of ladies! Keep up the good work and lets lose some more pounds!

My Mood: Points: 1,255.27 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,255.27 | Good morning ladies!!!!
VTGirl - No, I did not stay in the islands...but had sooooo much fun!!! When I was down there I met someone and he is WONDERFUL!!!! And because of him I am going back down in 2 weeks... gonna spend my birthday in Jamaica (who wouldn't want that?!?!). I went to Negril, and it was great, got to walk the beach everyday...7 miles of white sand!!! While I didn't stay on program while I was down there, I still lost 10.2 pounds! I wasn't a big fan of the food to be honest, I'm not big on spicy stuff and a lot of it was. The guy that I met worked over a mile down the beach from my resort, so I got a lot of walking in when we would go and visit on his lunch breaks. Being with him I also got to see a little bit of the countryside and it was beautiful... nice and quiet and peaceful. I just can't wait to go back. Ususally go to Maine for my birthday, it'll be nice to go to a place where I can put my toes in the ocean and don't have to worry about frostbite !!! Now I am just waiting for him to come here so we can see if this relationship is going to work! Keep your fingers crossed for us!
Sassy82 - How did you get that picture on your page. I tried and tried to post one and to also change my signature picutre and am having the hardest time. I would like to get new one up... and losing nearly 60 pounds I want to be able to show that off!!!
Thanks ladies.... I'll post updates after WI tomorrow!!!

Sarah - pick up some Smart Ones for your freezer, easy to make when you're exhausted. I like the sesame chicken fruity one. I'm not a big fan of too many, but they're not awful either.
Misty - Great going staying OP and exercising!
Sassy - Get those activity points in BD'ing counts! (at least in my book)
Rainy day here. I'm supposed to have a soccer game tonight. I have a sitter lined up for the kids. I hope I don't need to back out, they still play in the rain, but I wear glasses, and can't see crap when they're wet | |
