Here are some of the things that I'm eating on Flex. I have 29 points a day. I am totally a grazer - I'd rather eat lots of low point stuff through the day than eat three large meals. Plus it helps me to not overeat that way. So, a lot of this stuff is low point values for that purpose.
real oatmeal (not the instant kind - 2pts for 1 cup cooked)
weight watchers yogurt (1pt)
Thomas brand whole wheat light english muffin (1pt) and a tbspn of butter (1pt)
cook an egg (2pt I think) and put it on the english muffin
high fiber cereal from Trader Joes (1 cup is like 2 pts I think)
watermelon (1 cup is 1pt)
banana (8" is 2pts)
popcorn (4-5 cups popped of the 94% fat free is like 1-2 points)
lots of fruit
I made a WW recipes for a zero point vegetable soup that is really good
whole wheat pita with turkey and veggies
low fat cottage cheese
low fat string cheese
fiber one bars (2-3 points depending on which kind)
celery with peanut butter
subway turkey sub 6" on wheat with no cheese or mayo (5 or 6 points)
weight watchers giant bars (1 point ice cream bars that are wonderful!)
For dinners we've always eaten really healthy anyway but now I just eat off the salad plates instead of the dinner plates to make sure my portions are smaller (measure your portions!!!). If I'm hungry later, I make popcorn or something else.
Some of the meals I've made over the last week were:
Chicken curry, steamed broccoli and brown jasmine rice
Homemade Cashew Chicken and bok choy
Tofu and veggie stir fry
Mediterranean veggie pasta toss
Lamb chops with mashed potatoes and sauteed carrots
Grilled pork chops, sweet potatoes and salad
I also stopped drinking juice and any kind of soda. I just drink water and iced green tea. I haven't missed the other stuff at all, honestly.
If there is anything else I can help you with, just let me know! I'm really excited about WW. It's great to have to be accountable to someone, IMO.

Any advice that you experts can give will be greatly appreciated! | I am also on the flex plan. I have 28 pts this week. I am hoping that within the next three weeks I will be down to 27, LOL!
Anyway I eat what I want. But typically I TRY to make sure I tank up on fruits and veggies for each meal first, then the other stuff. I do a LOT Of WW frozen meals or recipes cause it's easy to figure out the points that way.
B-fast is usally yogurt and fruit, or low points cereal and milk, or scrambled egg whites with a bit of cheese.
Lunches tend to be WW's meals or salads. Zero points soup is another great addition!
Dinner is usually a low points recipe of somekind with a salad.
DWLZ.com has a TON of awesome low points recipe in their message forum. I have made a bunch. They are really yummy.
GL and HTH!

I thought I would join in on this group. I have been going to weight watchers for 8 weeks now..and only down .2. Growing very frustrated, as I do stay within my points and exercise and not seeing any results! My co-worker is my WW buddy...but it is difficult watching her lose the weight so easily! |

My Mood: Points: 13,629.47 Bank: 23,769.91 Total Points: 37,399.38 | I weighed in on Sunday and I was down .2 pounds. While I don't find this super exciting, I am glad that I didn't gain anything. I still have about 5 pounds to lose to get back down to my lowest weight since starting weight watchers. I hope to be under 200 pounds by the end of the summer. I have about 16 pounds to go.

Anyway, she lost FIVE POUNDS the first WEEK. I lost a measly 2 or so. I was so discouraged!!! I ended up quitting that year...I was not doing well and I think it is because I had a buddy that was doing better than I was. I had a really hard time watching her lose over 40 pounds and she has kept it off since then! I was happy for her, yet I gave up and started eating in my old bad ways and finally stopped going to the meetings. (this was before my diagnosis of PCOS and that is why I couldn't lose any more weight). I agree with the other girls.....post to us what you are eating this week and maybe we can figure out what the problem is!
