Just curious ... This totally doesn't matter, but I was just curious. I've noticed that when I post a new thread, I never see it in "New Posts" when I search the new posts. Even when people have responded, I sometimes don't see it in the "New Posts" right after someone posts a new comment. I am refreshing the new posts.

if i post a new thread, i cant see it straight away. But if i go somewhere else on sc, and then go back to the thread i can see it. Does this make sence??
what i mean is, say i put a thread on 'uk' , then i go to 'diet and ex', then go back to 'uk' i can see it ok.

It doesn't show up on 'new posts' because it's not 'new to you'. Once you've read a post, it's not in the new posts return anymore (for you).
