Unhappy Just diagnosed with...
Hey guys,
I guess this is more of a rant than anything but...i was just diagnosed with Tumors in my liver and cysts in my kidneys....i'm only 18!!! (also had to surgery for PCOS in december...) On BCP pills too.

Has anyone else had these problems and if so, what did they do to help get rid or allieviate them...the nurse who told me was very vague and just told me to go see a GI and a urologist....ANY COMMENTS ARE SO APPRECIATED....kinda upset...

I am sooo sorry lauren. Lots of things happened to me when I was 18 too! It makes you angry that your body is not functioning properly. I have never (to my knowledge) had cysts anywhere else and I dont know much to say except I am sorry and hang in there.

How did they diagnose thise things? how much did she tell you ? i have never heard of either.

thanks for the responses..keep em' coming if you can....lol

Well my obgyn's nurse was the one who informed me because they were looking for things in my pevlic region and found those instead. I asked questions and the nurse didnt know much of anything and on top of it gave me an attitude! She told me she was gonna forward the files to my primary who will then be able to tell me more....so i have to wait for them to call me back... They diagnosed these things with a Cat Scan btw...and did an iodine IV...

My friend has cysts in his kidneys.. and usually it can be treated with meds,,, sometimes you need dialysis.. (sp?)
