Welcome to SC, Angela
Your TSH is a bit above the upper limit of the new lab ranges (which is 3). Most people feel best when their TSH is close to 1 (or below). TSH doesn't really have much to do with how your thyroid is functioning anyway; it's your free T3 and free T4 that are important in determining this. You didn't post your lab ranges, but if you have them see if your numbers are at least midway in your range. If not, they would be considered low (well you doc may not consider them low, but you would feel best at least in midway of the range). If the tests run were total T3 and T4 and not the free T's, then they aren't going to tell you much anyway (the total tests just tell you how much of the hormones are in your blood, but the free tests tell you how much your body is actually using).
I highly recommend you check out this very lengthy, informative thread from the lowcarbfriends board called "Thyroid Tests Are Normal? Are You Sure?": http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/sh...threadid=71576
