Hi, I'm 22 years old and was diagnosed with pcos a couple of weeks ago. The doctor scheduled me for an ultrasound because my period was becoming very irregular and when I got the results back it was PCOS. I've been reading up on it and am terrified at what I am reading. So far the only symptoms I've had are weight gain and irregualr periods. Does anyone know if I dont have the other symptoms (facial hair, acne) that I will probably get them?? Also, my biggest fear has always been that I won't be able to get pregnant, what are my odds now? Is it only severe pcos that leads to infertility? welcome to sc from what ive learnt here, everyones pcos is different, so a woman doesnt necessarily have to have all symptoms to have pcos. there is a link to the newbie roadmap in my siggie for you
