Just diagnosed today Hi everyone, I was just diagnosed with PCOS today. I had an idea that I had it, but didn't want to jump to conclusions until I was able to see my gyn.
At this point she has me on prometrium, but we are considering going on Metformin after I have my glucose test later this week.
I'm also 99% sure I have cysts on my left ovary as it's been bothering me for the last few weeks.
I'm 34 and have one child. I'm divorced and dating a great man. I'm so terrified that I will never be able to have more children, my boyfriend doesn't have any and he wants them.
I told him tonight, I was so worried that he would just break up with me, but he didn't. He's a smart man
Anyway, I'm glad to have found this site.
