Just found a MIRACLE zit cream! Over the counter and cheap!!
I just discovered the BEST over the counter topical treatment for acne -- I use proactive and it helps control the acne tremedously, but I still get these HUGE cyst-like pimples that are seriously mountainous and hurt sooooooo bad.
My friend told me about "BYE BYE BLEMISH" -- it TOTALLY cleared it up over night. Normally, these type of zits take at LEAST a week to somewhat go away. I seriously think it is a miracle. It is around $10 at Walgreens. Its in a white and blue box with "As seen on TV" on it -- Get it and keep it in your medicine cabinet --
BTW -- if you get it, be sure NOT to shake it -- let the liquid settle and then put a Q-tip all the way to the bottom of the bottle. I missed this on the box and my friend had to tell me how to do it.
Hope this helps someone out there --

Thanks for the information. My son, who went through 3 courses of Accutane in high school is getting some acne again (probably from working around all that grease at his part time job at Taco Bell!) Accutane is such a horribly stong medication and I was thinking of just trying something over the counter first before going through the dermatologist route again.
I have been considering Proactive for him, too.
We have a Walgreen's nearby, so I will look for this and if I find it, I will let you know if it worked for him! It's worth a try and I am so glad that it worked for you!
Thanks!
Kathryn

I just bought some of this tonight after reading your post. Thanks for recommending it. I hope I have good results like you.

Oh, Wow!! This morning I could already tell a HUGE difference in my face! I have never used anything where I could see results after only 1 use. Thank you so much for recommending this!

jbrown -- I am so glad it worked for you! I was totally amazed. My friend ranted and raved about it, but I wasn't getting my hopes up --- I was floored when it worked in one night.
She also says that it works even better when the pimple is just coming on.
Deb -- LOL now, I wish I knew where to get memory implants for the brain! That is so funny!
KlassicalKat -- definitely try the Proactiv -- it totally works. I have been using it for years and will never stop using it. I still get breakouts here and there, but my acne is SO much MORE under control than without it.
OK -- I need opinions -- I have a niece that I want to get Proactiv for, but I don't know if her mom will want to keep spending the money on it ... don't know how to approach it. I just know when I was 13 I had acne too and would have done ANYTHING for the chance to use it....any ideas on how I can tactfully approach suggesting it without offending anyone?

I do that too

Okay, I found some. I'll put it on tonight and we'll see what happens in the morning. If I don't show up, you can assume my face fell off or something.
