Oh, boy. I've BEEN there, and done that. I've been you. I know what you're going through. My biggest advice to you is to not see this as some sort of horrible genetic punishment --- see this as an opportunity to really learn about yourself at a deep level. It will do you now good to tear yourself apart with the negatives -- that will only eat you alive from the inside out.
You have options. You have choices. There are various treatments that work very well for many women. Educate yourself. Empower yourself with knowledge, and then find the right doctors to help you with this issue.
Hang in there! You're not alone!!!!

I feel you on this one. Some days are a lot better than others. Hang in there. Dont let it get you too down.

Welcome to SC! Yes, you can ovulate without a period. There are 5 types of PCOS and not every cyster's symptoms are the same. Check this link: The Newbie Road Map
There are 5 different types of PCOS? I never knew that. Okay, you have to hang in there. Everyone's body is different, so what works for one person may not work for another. I have noticed that working out gives me energy. PCOS has made me fell like all of the life and energy has been drained. If I can get enough energy to get up and moving, the effort does pay off. As far as cramping, mine have really slowed down. My doctor told me bc, should help, but it did not for me. Taking muscle relaxers do help, but it is not easy to find a doctor who will prescribe it.
Thanks everyone! Just recently this has been getting to me..And I think Im gettin really depressed. Ive been depressed before. but its different. Its weird..It feels like Im empty or something : ( I hope this gets better. Thanks for all of your advice. It means a lot! : )
I understand, and I feel depressed too sometimes. I just have to find something to pull me out of the depression, and sometimes that is very hard to do. I totally sympathize with you. Just know that we are all here to support you. You can always come to your cysters and say anything that is on your mind. WE understand! We care. We know what you are going through.

Just wanted to say hello. I also find myself so overwhelmed and frustrated with pcos on a lot of days. I'm exhausted, and pretty much work and sleep and not much more. I'm trying to keep my head up, atleast i have finally got a diagnosis and am making steps forward to get treated and hopefully get some results. The support of these boards does'nt hurt either. Good luck to you!
