This is just for fun. Thought it might be a chance for us Aussies and Kiwis to get to know each other a little better in areas not at all related to PCOS.
I'll start......and I have to say I'm a big fan of Aussie bands!!!!
I love George, Powderfinger, Something for Kate, 28 Days, Alex Lloyd to name a few (the list could go on forever). I'm a great fan of Triple J (not that I get to listen to it much anymore). I also received the Best of Inxs for Christmas and it is GREAT!!!
So.....what Aussie/Kiwi muso's do you like??????
Amy
My favioute song at the moment is "London Still" by the Waifs... Its such a touching song...
Last year my hubby was away overseas for work for 2 weeks, and I thought I was doing ok at home alone, until it was about 2 days before he was due to come home, and that song came on the radio as i was driving home from work, and I burst into tears at the line "I miss you like my left arm, that I lost in a war" it really got me....
I also like machine gun fellatio, ben lee, powder finger, something for kate, jebediah... Others that i can't think of at the moment!!! Oh I always liked Crowed House - so there a kiwi one for ya!

i love oz music, bodyjar, magic dirt, 28 days, machine gun fellatio, front end loader, regurgitator, the living end, george - just to name a few...unfortunately i don't get out to see it as much as i used to when i was younger and saw more of the other side of midnight....
I love Australian music too, George, Powderfinger, Hunters and Collectors, alot of the Aussie stuff from the 80's mental as anything etc.
I also love The Clouds, I saw them at a Big Day Out about 6 years ago and went out and bought their CD the next day. Same with the Superjesus, they toured with Bush and were fantastic live.
We got a CD for Christmas from my SIL in NZ by a guy called CheFu and it's awesome! We had never heard of him before we got the CD. Do any of you Kiwi ladies know of him? Also if you do, do you know if he has any other CD's other than Navigator?
Well, at the risk of being ridiculed forever i have a wide range of music that i like BUT my all time favourite is country rock.
I love Gina Jeffreys, Beccy Cole, James Blundell, Lee Kernaghan etc but to counteract that my hubby also loves Kylie Minogue and we both enjoy Natalie Imbruglia and Tina Arena!
All a bit of a mish mash really - but i do love my country!

There's no ridiculing to be going on here Indi !!! My DH thinks he's Lee Kernaghan himself!!! Our CD racks are just hilarious to look at. We have everything from Slim Dusty to Silverchair between us. Our music tastes are worlds apart and that can be a problem when we are travelling (ie. fights over the CD player).
To each their own I say............and hey, I don't mind a bit of Kylie myself.
Amy
PS
I'm going to see Silverchair in March........CAN'T WAIT!!!
but (for those of you old enough to remember it) I went to the taping of "Countdown" for a birthday party when i was about 11 or 12 maybe! Anyway, we saw split enz and australian crawl live. It seems so daggy now, but we thought it was pretty cool back then!
I like powderfinger ( great to play really loud in the car on a long drive), george, h&c, wendy matthews, john butler trio, paul kelly, kasey chambers, grinspoon.
