Just for fun, what are your favourite Aussie/kiwi tv shows?
It's been a bit quiet here at Aussie/Kiwi cysters, so i thought i'd post this for a bit of fun and a new spin on Amy's Aussie/kiwi music thread.
It's time to admit what your faves are, which characters or actors you love/hate, what you are addicted to, or even what tv shows you really hate?
I don't watch much tv, but i have a few shows i tune in to watch.
I'm a "Secret life of us addict", sad but true! Although this year i'm not enjoying it as much as last time around. I love Debra Mailmans character 'Kelly', and think she is a good actor. I have moved from Vic to NSW and enjoy seeing little bits of melbourne in the background too!
I used to be a great fan of "The panel" but mostly just to laugh along with kate langbroek.
Well that's all i can think of right now, look forward to reading a few replies.
I don't watch too much tele, but I love my Aussie Dramas!!
I'm a big Secret Life fan too, although I agree it hasn't been as good this season, and I read they are thinking of not doing another season...
and I've always been a big fan of Blue Healers, and All Saints.... And I really like McLeods Daughters too...

OK.......I'm a TV junkie and I love my Aussie dramas !
I love:
The Secret Life of US - I love Kelly too rhon!! I also like Evan.
All Saints - just don't know what I'm going to do without Bron and Ben though!!
I also watch:
Blue Heelers - just wish they'd ditch Tess and make Jo Parish the Sargeant.............and would she hurry up and marry PJ!!!!
Neighbours - don't really know why I bother!
Home and Away - but I probably won't watch it for much longer if they don't get rid of that awful, evil Angie.
Oh yeah, I like The Panel too........and the Footy Show (NRL) (but I'm usually in bed when they are on these days).
I like McLeods daughters too!!! The new one is supposed to start on Sunday night with a 2 hr show........oohh SHES PREGNANT
(And I'm assuming aussie people already know whats happened!! please don't tell me!!!!!)
I also like the Footy Show as well....have grown to enjoy watching League!!!
Kiwi dramas.....ummmmmm
I would say Shortland Street (but rarely get home from work in time to watch it) - for you aussies....its similar to Home & Away and Neighbours
The other programme I LOVE is CSI (ok, so its not kiwi or aussie but its FANTASTIC!!!)

Well - i can quite honestly say that i am a video addict! Due to getting up so early for work i tape all of these shows and watch them later in the week.
While eating tea i watch HOME AND AWAY - i love it and always have had - i just wish they wouldnt do stupid things with the school! ie make Sally the principal - Puleeze - and then charging Nick - again Puleeze and as for Angie - evil witch that she is - she would have been removed long ago in a REAL SCHOOL.

All Saints - Georgie Parker is my fave and has always been
Secret Life of Us - now that Alex has gone i dont know who would be my favourite but i do like the guy who runs the bar! Sorry guys i find Kelly too stupid for words!

Always Greener - always good for a laugh
Blue Heelers - particularly PJ and have a soft spot for Evan - so naive
White Collar Blue - great show to see returned
I'M ADDICTED TO - REALITY TV - ESPECIALLY
The Bachelor and The Bachelor 2 , Joe Millionaire and Big Brother but i loath and detest Survivor.

I try not to watch too much TV but I love All Saints (gonna miss Mitch now ). Also love the Panel, but contrary to Rhon, Kate Langbroek annoys me. I HATE the way she claps (like a seal) and I hate the way she always says "o-o-o-o-o" to everything guests or panelists say.
Wasn't last night sad!! I bawled the whole episode! And did you see the preview for next week??? Is Georgie Parker leaving too???? I haven't heard anywhere that she is, so I guess I'll just have to wait and watch next week.... Anyone know????

Oh it was sadder than Mitch's death and that was sad enough!! I watched it on video as I'd been out. My hubby taped it but it cut out seconds before the end -- so Ididn't see the preview for next week (htough that will be on TV again before next week) but the tape cut out when Terri was sitting in the rocking chair and reading through what Mitch had written to her. Sniff. Is that how it ended? What was the very last bit? Anyone remember??
I think that it is because my husband works late at night and I have the TV for company.
I AM AN ALL SAINTS FAN and I will move heaven and earth to be at home on a tuesday night. I am soooo going to miss Bron and Ben it just will not be the same without them, sigh.
I also love reality TV - sad i know. I loved big brother 1&2 but think that number 3 is boring!!!.
Also love the bachelor 1&2 but am so dissapointed that they all broke up after the show.
No one has mentioned Rove!

Well probably my fav Aussie show would be The Secret Life of Us, even though I don't know how I am going to cope now that Alex isn't in it, as well as Miranda. If Evan leaves thats it I won't watch it again LOL
I still like Neighbours, and at the moment I am a Big Brother 3 freak, watch it all the time, even the Up Late shows (yes I know I am a dag!)
I love Rove and Skithouse, we love watching those for a damn good laugh!!
I am also getting back into All Saints. I went off it for a while but now I can't miss it!!
Mandi, I'm a Big Brother addict too!!! I don't watch the up late shows though......I have seen it once when Lachlan woke up during the night. Who will be out tonight........my money is on Ben....HE'S OUTTA HERE!!!!
Sammie, I do like Rove too sometimes......depends how funny he is on the night. Can't say that I've seen Skithouse yet, but I've heard that it's great.
