I wouldn't worry too much about it. This is my third month on it, and I did the same thing the first two times. More so the first month, where spotted for a day, then nothing for a day, then spotted for a few days, then 2 days of a real period, and spotted for a few more days until it ended. I don't know why this happened, but my cycle as pretty much been like this for the past year anyway, so I just assumed that was how my body is or because I hadn't taken it long.
If this is the first time you're using it, my doctor said to just let your body do whatever the first month or two because you need time to adjust to it. However, if you're really concerned, you should probably call your doctor and ask.
