Default just had my first laser treatment...

When will I begin to see a reduction?? I will wake up and shave like normal and see what happens. It was a bit uncomfortable but so quick!! I had no after effects and am really excited to get going on this process. I got it covered by my "flex" dollars at work (pre-taxed medical savings account). I'll let you guys know how it goes. I am have the entire lower half of my face done for $175/session.

ok, well in my experience, the hair usually starts falling out after about a week. . .and as I'm sure they've told you, it's best not to tweeze or shave in the first few days after a treatment, because that might affect the rate at which they fall out. And as you probably know, depending on how hairy the area was to begin with, it usually takes 2-3 sessions to see a noticeable improvement, because in any one session, it's impossible to target all the hairs in that area. So that's why they usually recommend 4-5 sessions to see the best results. So anyhoo, my advice is to just be patient, and if you don't notice any hairs falling out after a week or 2, call them to see what's up. Good luck, and please keep us posted!

Default morning after

Woaaaaaaah...I am swollen!! I have had an interesting 1/2 hour trying to cover up my entire beard area and neck/chin. It still looks really obvious but I will go on with my day and try not to focus on it. I think I will come home for lunch and put ice on it. It looked completely normal yesterday. We'll see what happens. They told me I could shave this morning and that hurt really bad too. I hope the hair starts falling out soon. Also, I hope the swelling goes down in time for my anniversary trip 2 days away!!! Yikes!
