Default Just how hairy are you girls?

Hi girls. I was just wondering if you don't mind me asking just how hairy everyone is. I know that most of us have some excessive body/faciel hair but was wondering how many has excessive hair like everywhere. I really do suffer with the hair issue. Does any one else have hirsutism as bad as me? i've got it from the chin right down to the toes I've got thick course hair almost everywhere, and as a result my confidence is rock bottom. I don't go out much at the moment and have lost contact with a lot of my friends as it is just such a hassle to get ready to go out. I dream of the day that I can just get ready for a night out without all the plucking, waxing, shaving etc. Thankyou for any reply's in advance.

I have hair just about everywhere too. My face isn't too bad yet. That's just kind of peach fuzzy and not really noticable yet. But my entire body is covered with dark hair. My back is the worst. I think i'm just gonna start doing a full body shave like everyday. The hair isn't too coarse... it's just dark. I have it everywhere from my chest down to my toes.

I have it everywhere too. From my head to my toes. Although the head part is thinning (ah--the joys of PCOS). It is the very worst on my lower legs and upper lip. My leg hair is the worst. It grows faster than weeds! Let's put it this way--if I wore a skirt to work and then wanted to wear a skirt that evening, I would have to shave twice and wear nylons to get away with it. Consequently, I tend to wear LOTS of long pants and longer skirts.

I have been taking Metformin for about a year to help with Insulin Resistance. It seems like the hair is not as coarse. It is still there and it is dark; but, it isn't as coarse.

I have hair..EVERYWHERE. However, the stuff that bugs me is the ones that are dark which are on my chin and arms. Everywhere else I am blonde. I also grow like 3 or 4 hairs a follicule...which sucks too...

disintegration--I'm the same way! In my armpits I frequently have 5 or 6 per follicle! It is crazy! Most other places I have between 1 and 3. Glad that I'm not the only one!

Well I've always though I had alot of hair on my body because I was part Hawaiian and portagues. My Aunts are the same way. But it wasn't up untill this year when I started growing hair in my armpitts. I was actully happy because I felt like a "woman" I finally got to shave my arm pitts. But the hair just kept growing and growing. Now I'm growing hair on my toes, not just my big toe.

I'd have to say for me this is only a mild problem. Right now, i have a little sprinkling of belly hairs, more on my upper thighs than I really want, and I started developing chin hair in my twenties. I have a 30 chin hairs that are a chronic issue for me. My older sister is way more hirsute than I am, and yet, she doesn't have PCOS.

In my case it's the hair LOSS that has been more devastating.

Mine's not too bad. I have some on my upper lip, chin, and abdomen...all that male-pattern hair growth. I tweeze the facial hair and shave the hair on my abdomen. I'm very self conscious about the dark hair on my arms though, and I don't try to remove it because then I feel weird about not having any hair at all on my arms. Blame that on a stupid ex-boyfriend. Anyway, the hair on my legs grows really fast and I'm really lazy about shaving it. I should probably shave every other day but I definitely don't. Sometimes I'll use Nair and that lasts a bit longer.

my face is the worst/most embarrassing. although my arms and legs are what i'd consider very hairy, at least most women have a little hair there, so i don't figure that's as weird. underarm hair pisses me off because i wear sleeveless shirts almost all the time and there's nothing i've found to really get rid of it very well. also my eyebrows -- i have to constantly be plucking on them or they look like big woolly caterpillars.

A lot on my chin, a little on my face near my ears, upper lip, toes, naval area, buttocks, lots on my lower arms, and of course legs. I'm so glad to know that this isn't just me! And, I also have 2 hairs that grow on out of the follicles on my arms. I know this is an odd question, but how do all of you remove your hair in delicate places? I'm still a virgin because I'm so uncomfortable with my body, esp. the hair on my buttocks. Any suggestions for removal?

xSamix and tariana: I'm with you on the facial hair issue. I can deal with all the other areas, but I hate having the facial hair. It's easy enough to remove it and I dont' mind waxing at all really. But I"ve also got really sensitive skin. So right after I get it waxed, then I break out. Then when the breakout is finally subsiding...yep! Time to get waxed again. Grrrr.....

And cheech: You can shave and groom for a well-kept, tidy, neat look. Or what I usually do is get a Brazilian Bikini Wax...the guys looooove that!
