I have just been having a bad couple of days and I am so tired. Do you all ever just feel exhausted both physically and mentally? I feel like this is just wearing me down. I am on Yasmin and was supp. to get my period yesterday and no sign of it yet but I am crying like there is no tomorrow and I can't seem to stop...I just sit here and cry and cry...for no good reason...is it hormones? have I finally lost it? I have no idea anymore...this happens to me every 25 to 30 days like clockwork....I break down and cry for a couple of days and then I am ok...this is really getting on my nerves...My DH is so awesome through all this and just hugs me and man is that the best but it is still nice to vent to those of you who know what it feels like...ya know? anyway just had to let that out...{{{{{Hugs}}}} everyone!!! Don't you just hate these kind of days? How long have you been on Yasmin? Did this happen before you started taking it? You might need a different BCP. There are lots of different ones out there. But, sometimes you just have to let it go. I think it's our bodies way of dealing with life. I hope you have a better tomorrow Give your DH an extra hug for being so special. And, always come her anytime when you need to vent. That's what we're here for. Hugs, Lendi
This is my first month on Yasmin and this all started about 5 months ago when I stopped some BCP, I waited 3 months but no AF and then my doc put me on Yasmin..and still no AF, but my hormones are thinking otherwise...hehe...I think I should talk to him about this...My eyes are soswollen I feel like I can't see!! I just want the crying to stop!! I was better on the previous BCP's....Thanks Lendi!!! Bibi

Please, do talk to him. You shouldn't feel that sad. If it only lasts a few days a month during AF time it is probably hormonal. But, it it happens other times as well, you might have some depression. Either way, your Dr. should be able to help you. Let me know if you need to talk. I check in often or you can pm me. I could give you my e-mail also. This sad feeling can make life pretty rough. Oh, yes. Put a very cold cloth on your eyes to help the swelling. Have a better evening. Hugs, Lendi
I agree that you should consult with your doctor about having these crying spells... you may need to change bcps or need something added to help you through those days.... I know how it feels to just cry and cry for what seems like no reason but you still can't stop crying over any little thing.... thankfully I haven't done that in awhile.... I wish you the best and hope things get better for you.... we are here for you if you need to talk.... Take care...
hugs,
terra

Thank you so much for your replies, they really help me out when I am in the "blue" phase as I call it...I am seeing my doctor monday and am going to ask about what to do...I have a feeling it is very bad PMS because I got my AF today and I have been fine...in pain but overall fine, I think maybe I need to change BCP's and see if there is change. Again thank you cysters!!How wonderful it is to vent and have such support Bibi

It is the Yasmin. I take it and I have the same problem. However, it's the only thing they have found (in 17 years) that keeps me from bleeding so I have to stay on it. I am exhausted all of the time and I always get depressed during the same time that you do. It's a great drug, it's just really hard to handle the side effects. You have my sympathy -- I am a big time soul cyster with you on this one!!! It's really hard.
P.S.: We have a joke in my family that my husband is the one who cries for a week when I have my period. That's another effect that I have from it -- horribly mood swings and nastiness. Hang in there!!!
