I guess it's been one of those kinds of months. If I'd not miscarried in June, we would have been having our baby shower right about now. That really does me in at times, especially because there are posters all over at work for someone else's baby shower this evening. I'm not at the "break-down-and-cry-when-I-pass" stage, but I don't think I will be, because that's just not something I do. It'll hit me some random day, when I least expect it. Also, the VP here in our building has just had the birth of his child announced, through company email. The closer I get to important dates in my pregnancy, the more rotten I feel. I suppose it's natural for all of us, but there are days I find it hard to go into work; in fact, I've managed to stay home and work a lot these past few weeks because of it. Blah. Guess I just had to get it off my chest.

I am sorry for your loss. It is hard to be excited for others when their good news serves as a reminder of our own trauma. You are still healing from your loss, and it is ok for you to hurt about it.

Just don't hold your grief in - cry if you need to cry. It will help you heal.

Thanks ladies...I was just having a stinky day yesterday, but things are coming around. Just like everyone else, I felt the need to let it all out. Poor DH usually gets the brunt of all of it, and I know he's going through a lot, too. But he's playing a very active part in all of this, so it helps a lot.

BabyJade - I don't need any advice, just someone who might read all this and say something, even if it's "Hey, shut up, quit whining!" Thank you.

Problem is, I need to vent here a little less, and work a little more. It's that subliminal messaging again....I'm hooked, and can't stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!
