Red face Just sad..and curious

I guess Im just sad right now...Well I am also curious if it is normal to get so down in the dumps the week before you af is suppose to come...I can cry so easy when its on its way..Its really bad..I have awful thoughts, and doubt my life...Is it really normal to feel this crappy when AF is on its way? or is there something else wrong?

Oh yeah, I get NASTY depression and anxiety the 8 or 9 days before AF hits. So bad that AF is like a relief when she arrives!

Shyrae,
You just described me! I generally feel fine the rest of the month, but about a week before my period, I get terribly depressed. No appetite, crying, don't sleep well, etc. My dr. has me on prozac for the week before my period and the first few days of my period. It really helps.

Hope you feel better

Hugs
Jenny

I also get down and easily irritated. I will get really angry (typically at my dh) and then all of a sudden it hits me...oh, I guess that I am getting ready to start... When I realize why it is happening, I find that it is easier to deal with. I also get more emotional at the end of my AF. I try real hard to keep my emotions in check. I am not always successful, but I try.
