My name is Rachael, I am 36years old, and I believe I have had PCOS since puberity. I tried to get it diagnosed before I began TTC. Had very unhelpful Gynae. Anyway I have 2 lovely children now (3 and 9months).No thanks to him.
MY symptoms have got progressively worse of late, and I have just been diagnosed with osteo arthritis in my hips!
I am going back to docs this week, and insisting I get another specialist referral, as have discovered risks of untreated pcos. Some of which I am suffering now! And it is not happy reading, and I am scared of the future as far as my health goes.
Anyway to you all. It's good to know there are people out there who understand.

Welcome to SC. I know this is easier said than done, but don't stress yourself out over the risks of untreated PCOS. You know now that you have it, and I can tell from the tone of your post that you'll do everything in your power to get yourself as healthy as possible. See you around the boards!
