Ladies I posted this also on the general PCOS spot and thought I would post it here too. Yesterday my compounding pharmacist shared some imfo. with me that she had learned at a conference recently in regards to women with PCOS and especially women with PCOS who are TTC. I encourage you to research it before you try it.
She said they are finding that women with PCOS are Vitamin D deficient.(you can have a simple blood test done to find out if you would like)She said that taking 1,000iu's of Vitamin D3 daily to supplement is important(Kat posted some valuable finding on this Vitamin D on the general post I made),as well as taking a multi-vitamin or prenatal daily,Fish Oil 5,000mg daily and those who suffer with anxiety and stress taking B-Complex daily.
Something else she told me that I have never been told in all my years of using alternative medicines. You should not buy any of your supplement just from a Walgreen,Wal-Mart of regular store b/c the have additives in all their supplements your body does need. You should buy your supplements at a compounding pharmcy, chiropractor's office that carries supplements, doc.office that carries supplements or from an on-line pharmecutical grade supplement company that way you are getting just the supplement you are wanting.
Have fun doing your research if you want I would love to hear whatever you find out.

I just ordered Dry Vitamin D3 online. (Vitalady) My D has been low. My Endocrinologist likes it above 70. I have found a calcium citrate with Vitamin D3 in it. (UpCal D) I just started taking it a month ago. I will be having Vitamin D labs next month. I hope to bring my numbers up.

There's a special series on Discovery Health called The Truth About Food. Last night I flipped it on while on the treadmill, and they were starting a segment on vitamin D and calcium in women with sever PMS symptoms (severe mood disorders, pain, fatigue, bloating, etc)
I was running during the show, so I didn't catch the amounts of vitamin D and calcium they had to take but the women ate cheese or dairy along with fatty fish each day. At the end of the study, most of the women had dramatically improved results.
I'm in a hotel, right now, but when I get home, I"ll dig up the study.
