Default Was it just spotting or af? Confused- please help!!! (TMI)

I have been very irregular for the past 10 yrs or so, but started both Ovulex and Natural Progesterone Cream at the end of March. 2 weeks after starting this combo, 1) I got my first +opk and 2) af came- I thought I surely found my perfect pairing...

Now here is the confusion. I stopped the npc when af came in April. My ff chart is a bit erratic (can you say WILD hormones!!), and it never truly pinpointed o date for may. I spotted a bit mid month (cd 24-28), but never full on.

On cd 44 started getting crampy and had some brown spotting (yes, I am sorry, TMI). As the days progressed, was continuing to spot and here is where I am sooo confused! After the second day of spotting, I had to wear a pad (well, I suppose I could have worn a panty liner- but a pad it was). I never really had true 'flow', but if I hadn't of worn the pad, would have stained- sometimes brown blood, sometimes reddish (yes, tmi ).

I had a few days that there were 'times' I had a few moments of semi/quasi red 'flow'. But this only lasted for a few minutes or so. After these couple of days, it slowed back down to a regular 'spotting', and then just ended.

I'm so sorry I seem to be rambling on, but here is the question. Should I have considered this af??? Or was it just another lousy symptom of pcos? When I didn't get a 'normal' period, went back to the npc hoping to get her to come. Check my chart for the info.

To those that have made it through this post, thanks! Any suggestions/ ideas are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

I was hoping you'd have an answer. I'm asking a similar question myself. I tend to be irregular myself. I stopped BCP in November 2005. No AF since then. I tried NPC twice per day starting on May 25. On the 12th day of use, I started spotting a lot like you described. I never really had a true flow but it sounds a lot like what you described. I'd put on a pad when I could of gotten away with a panty liner. I tend to be noticing a lot of clear cm now. I'd love to know what this means.

((HUGS)) to the both of us finding answers.
