Default just started clomid!

Hey everyone,
I just started my first cycle with clomid. I am taking 50 mg for 5 days, and my last pill is tomorrow. I also ordered some preseed online this week, just to be ready!
I am so nervous about whether or not the clomid will work for me... does anyone know what the stats are that would make it more likely that clomid will work for you? My mom took clomid when she was in her 20's and it never made her ovulate , so I worry I'll follow in her footsteps :S.
Anyone else just start clomid? I don't think I've had any side effects so far... I hope that doesn't mean it's not working lol!

I finished my last pill of Clomid 1 week ago. I had 2 episodes of brief hot flashes while taking teh pills. I also had some vague right ovary discomfort. So far, I'm on CD 18 and no + OPK. It's my first Clomid cycle. We'll see...

I'm on cd1 and plan to start my first cycle of 50mg of Clomid on cd5. I'm excited! But, I"m also worried, too. There are a lot on here that it doesn't seem to work for, so I'm worried that it will be the same for me. But, if it doesn't work on 50, then I'm hoping a higher dosage will work!

Anyways, for now....I'm excited!

I just started my third round of clomid yesterday. My first two rounds were at 50mg. I am now on 100mg. I hope you don't get the hot flashes........ they suck. I just started getting acupuncture to enduse an ovulation. I hope this moth it will work. Good luck to you. Keep positive.

I am getting ready to start cycle #2 with 100mg of Clomid. I O'd on CD18 last month also on 100mg. My RE started me out on 100 mg. Most people start out on 50... maybe she just likes to be more aggressive... not sure. I took it in the am and only had a couple of hot flashes. Not a big deal since I was terrified of much worse S/E! I O'd on CD18 but I've heard that Clomid can actually cause you to O later in your cycle. So I wouldn't give up too soon. A lot of other girls said that you should O by CD35. So you've got some time!

My RE told me to take the Clomid CD5-9. I've seen lots of people taking it CD3-7. Is there any difference? I was thinking of taking it CD3-7 and maybe get O here a few days earlier (maybe). What are your opinions?
