 just started metformin
i went to an endocrinologist the 24th and was given metformin 500mg x1 a day. [uping to x2 a day in two weeks]
after being called fat in almost every way possible by this doctor, he put me on this. he really didn't give me any information on it or tell me what to expect [i asked] after reading around here a bit most of my questions were answered.
i've got typical PCOS and insulin resistance. i take necon 1/35 [gyno said that's the highest she can give me] and synthroid.
i've only experienced minor side effects with the metformin, which really aren't any different that when i started antidepressants so it doesn't bother me too badly. the floaty head feeling is almost enjoyable to be honest.
my question is i read somewhere that metformin can increase breast tissue. is this true? |
